Sports / Activities
The Phoenix Metro Area is over
flowing with local and national sports teams. The
Arizona Republic
has an excellent online sports section with the latest scores and updates for
your favorite teams. Below are just a few of the world famous sports team that
call the Valley of the Sun home.
Arizona Diamondbacks
- the World Champion team is based out of Chase Field in downtown Phoenix.
Phoenix Suns
- play NBA basketball at the U.S. West Airways Cent, also in downtown Phoenix.

- based out of Glendale, AZ this NHL hockey team plays at Jobing.com arena.
Arizona Cardinals
- the NFL football club is located in Glendale, Arizona at the University of
Phoenix Stadium.
Arizona Rattlers
- is arena football at
its best. They also play out the US Airways Center in downtown Phoenix.
Arizona has an unbelievable 421 golf courses to choose from.
